“You Didn’t Collect Money From Beyoncé, But You’ll Collect Money From Broke Upcoming Artists”- Dencia Throws Shade At Wizkid & Shatta Wale

Cameroonian singer, Reprudencia Sonkey, popularly known as Dencia, took a direct swipe at Wizkid and ShattaWale on Instagram.
The 33-year-old singer slammed the duo for accepting to do a collaboration with Beyonce for free but would charge upcoming artists for their first collabo. According to Dencia, mentalities like these are part of the reasons Africa is still backward.

Though she didn’t drop the names of the artists, netizens are positive she is indirectly referring to Wizkid and Shatta Wale whose hit songs with Beyonce earned her millions.

Dencia opines that once in a while artists should pick money over fame, but they should do so wisely. According to the sweet life singer, it’s sheer hypocrisy for an artist to reject his payment from an international artist but will have the audacity to milk his fellow artists dry.

She further added that most of these artists don’t collect the money and will go around borrowing money from people all for the sake of clout.
