Legendary Reggae Singer, Majek Fashek Passes On At Age 57

One of Nigeria’s music icons, Majekodunmi Fasheke popularly known as Majek Fashek is dead.
The singer known for tracks like “Send Down the Rain” and “So Long Too Long” has been battling with his health and was said to have died in the United States on Monday, June 1. The revelation was made by his manager Omenka Uzoma Day in a video on Instagram. He wrote: “Today been having pressure calls, well it is true that the African No 1 Legendary ICON has gone to be with the LORD his Maker, Let celebrate him, his achievements and his family, whatever decisions made by his immediate family will be notify.From his Manager: OMENKA Uzoma Day.”
