“Great Nation”, Timi Dakolo (born; January 20, 1981) is a Nigerian singer. He emerged winner of the inaugural season of Idols West Africa in 2007. With his victory, he got a recording contract with Sony BMG, in addition to other prizes. He has been called The Voice and is dubbed Nigeria’s King of Soul.

Everyone knows Timi is a sucker for singing romantic songs for his wife but this time the love song is dedicated to Nigeria. “Great Nation” reeks of great song writing which is one of his best tracks to date.
