This year 2018 is definitely a wonderful year for the Nigerian musicians as most of them have been on the International scene with their various shows and concert. Burna Boy is one of these few artistes that has enjoyed more international recognition this year from his Outside album to his YE song that was placed alongside Kanye West YE album on international search engine to his recently playlist created on Spotify and his just concluded Sold Out tour in the UK.

Earlier this week after his LOTO-UK, a viral video of Burna Boy’s performance at the o2 Academy where fans hijacked the singer’s song YE from his and performed it themselves from the beginning to the end without OluwaBurna singing circulated on social media and it gave everyone a wow expression.

After this successful sold-out show on Sunday, the 7th of October, Nigeria’s Afrofusion artiste; Burna Boy was awarded with a plaque as the first African artiste to sell out a show and shut down The O2 Academy, Brixton. The King of Afrobeat made the award known to us via his Instagram handle.
